A Few Interviews With Tennessee Coaches

Filed under: Uncategorized — Peter Edmiston @ 9:53 am

As you have no doubt heard, the Tennessee football staff is taking a lot of flack around the country for their brash style, particularly the comments Lane Kiffin made regarding Florida coach Urban Meyer – Kiffin was forced to apologize after accusing Meyer of cheating (Meyer broke no rule in his recruitment of Nu’Keese Richardson). There’s no doubt that Tennessee’s got an entirely different way of doing business now that Kiffin is in charge. They have a swagger that’s never been seen before in Knoxville. Can they back it up? We’ll find out on the field come September. But the fans at the East Memphis Hilton last night were as energized as I’ve ever seen a Tennessee fanbase, and that seems to have been priority number one for this coaching staff. I had a chance to talk to the staff a bit – I tried to get these interviews cut in time for this morning’s Morning Rush, but I couldn’t. So these are blog exclusives…hope you enjoy.
